NZ Represents in WordPress Logo Comp

As mentioned in my post “WordPress Takes on Hollywood“, this blog is run on WordPress.com. You can create your own free account and start writing a blog straight away.

But enough about them. Here’s more about me! WordPress are currently running a competition on the creative use of the WordPress logo.

After 100 entries, the WordPress team have narrowed it down to ten finalists – 5 categories with 2 entries each. I’m proud to say that I am one of the two finalists for the Landmarks and Masterpieces category.

Right now, I’m holding 58% of the vote with 587 votes. If you like what I’ve done with the logo, please head to the WordPress logo voting page and vote for Hollywood!

UPDATE: I won my section! I got an e-mail from a chap at WordPress who thanked me for entering the competition and gave me a choice of prizes. I have now received a shiny new WordPress Hoodie and a WordPress skin for an iPhone. Now I just have to win an iPhone!
