Christchurch Daily Photo is a photography blog by a lady by the name of Michelle. Michelle created the blog to display photos that she takes around Christchurch every day.
She appears to be doing very well and the blog features some great and colourful photos from around the city. Many of the recent photos are obviously related to the significant Christchurch earthquake and resulting aftershock that happened on 4th September 2010 and 22nd February 2011 respectively.
Rather than simply showing the destruction of the earthquake, many of the photos show symbols of togetherness and hope for Christchurch’s future, such as this photo showing messages of support for the Dux de Lux. A refreshing change.
Spookily, I took a look at Michelle’s first post which was in September 2007 and it was dedicated to the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament. You can view the post here. This just a day after I posted photos of damage to the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament over on NZ Raw.
What you’ll find on the blog
